After a bit of a break, we’re back! The first meet-up of 2013 will be held at Bruuveri, in the Kamppi shopping centre (map) at 18:00 on the 21st of January.
The meet-up will be sponsored by Fiksu and their Vice President of Engineering, Mark Corner, will be present to give a short presentation and to buy everyone a drink.
If you would like to present something yourself, just bring along your slides and laptop (or other presentation device) on the day.
Rails Girls have invited us to have a joint meet-up with them in October. They had their 4th workshop two weeks ago and now they are having an informal meet-up where people can continue hacking, meet like-minded people, and ask questions. The meet-up will take place at Aalto Design Factory on the 17th of October (Wednesday) from 18:00 onwards.

The folks running Open Web Application Security Project (OWASP) Helsinki chapter let us know about their event about Ruby on Rails security. They kindly invited the members of Helsinki Ruby Brigade to attend their event.
Their chapter meeting and joint Helsinki Ruby Brigade meeting will be held on Tuesday, June 26th at Kela offices, Nordenskiöldinkatu 12. The agenda includes a presentation about Rails security by OWASP member followed by a panel discussion of security experts and Rails developers. If you are interested in participating in the panel as a developer, contact @ljuti on Twitter.
