February’s Ruby Brigade will be hosted by freelance rubyists Joonas Jokela (http://meshtactics.com) and Pirkka Esko (http://pirkkaesko.com) on Thursday 20th of February, starting 18:00.
The meet-up will take place at Deck (http://deck.fi), the co-working space for software pros (Pursimiehenkatu 26 H).
Talks given in this meet-up will be “entry level” talks, making them particularly suitable for new rubyists or even anyone curious about Ruby.
Pirkka Esko will give a presentation on his first Ruby project, the epic multi-player browser game Space Victory (LOC 25K).
Joonas Jokela will talk about prototyping web applications with Ruby, giving a brief look into lifecycle of creating and deploying a simple web application.
Apart from talks, there will be Ruby themed refreshments, snacks and general socialising.
